Small group tour from April to October..
We will depart from Cardiff to Bannau Brycheiniog National Park. We will drive through miners’ villages and visit a reserve of nature’s eco-engineer: the beaver.
This vivid experience will immerse you into the world of the beaver, showing you their approach to managing environment and habitat and the new species that arrive after their work. We will also show you the effects of their damming, felling of trees and creating a landscape of true health and wellbeing, not only for the wildlife.

We will explore Cathedral Cave and Bone Cave’s twisting passageways and great caverns and walking behind the 40-feet high waterfalls.
Overnight in Swansea
We start our morning with a drive through Gower, the first place in Britain to be named an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty due to its cliffs and woodlands ringed by sparkling beaches. We will stop for a short walk at Rhossili, that has been named among world’s best beaches, before we continue to St. David’s, Britain’s smallest cathedral city .
Visit to the Cathedral and a circular coastal walk.
Overnight in St. David’s
We will take a bus to explore the Gower Area of Morning adventure to Skommer or Bardsey Island, depending on availability.
Both islands are renowned for its wildlife perfect place to see choughs, grey seals, puffins, and Manx shearwaters. Skommer has become very famous for its puffins after it appeared in a David Attenborough’s nature television program. Lunch & Glasshouse Café and afternoon visit to the Welsh Wildlife Centre & Teifi Marshes . We will discover the wonders of nature with regular sightings of kingfisher, otter and wading birds. Drive to Aberystwyth.
Overnight in Aberystwyth
Walking tour of Aberystwyth at sunrise. We will watch from the beach (weather permitting) then we will take the Vale of Rheidol railway to Devils’ Bridge and walk the nature trail. Lunch at Devil’s Bridge followed by a scenic drive through the beautiful Elian Valley to the kite feeding centre. On our way back to Aberystwyth we will visit a the small historical village
Overnight in Aberystwyth
Morning visit to the stunning Glaslyn Valley where we see breeding ospreys (spring and summer). Knowledgeable volunteers will answer your questions and you can use telescopes for a close up view of the bird nests. After lunch carefully preserved heritage carriages as we offer you a 1960s style service to Tan-y-Bwlch station, set in the heart of the woodlands of Eryri (Snowdonia National Park). walk in one of Wales’s temperate rainforests . Pick up and then drive to Caernarfon.
Overnight in Caernarfon
Morning visit and walk to a glacial valley that inspired Charles Darwin. Free afternoon in Caernarfon or optional tour of the town and castle.
